Godwick Great Barn Wedding
The Godwick Great Barn Wedding venue is one of my favourite wedding venues in Norfolk. I have photographed a few weddings here. And I must say each wedding shot at Godwick great barn is completely different and unique to one another.
Godwick Great Barn wedding day
I am not sure if it is a fluke but each time I photograph a Godwick great barn wedding the weather is always the same. A mixture of moody clouds, clear sunny skies and warm. I arrived at Godwick great barn in the morning to a room full of excited bridesmaids. they resembled a room full of playful children.! The Bridal party greeted me with the story of “Trev” the turkey who you will probably see in many of the photographs. Trev is a green toy turkey. Designed to be flicked at people for amusement. All you need to do is place your finger in his head, pull back his legs and let watch him fly across the room. Targets were made from plates of various sizes with top score being given to the small tea plate. Much fun!
The ceremony took place in the Great Barn, then moved to the rear lawn area for drinks and nibbles. The reception dinner took place in this amazing tee-pea, which was the largest tee-pea i have ever seen. After the food and speeches the sun began to set and the dancing and games began. I managed to capture some great shots in the dark of the popular beanbag toss. One lucky guest managed to get three hole in ones!
Overall it was a great day and my couple and guests were very lovely and kind people.
