Hales Hall Barn Wedding Photography

Laura and Marc chose the wonderful Hales Hall Barn as the venue for their wedding. This was my first time at Hales Hall Barn and I was totally blown away by the perfection of the venue.
Not only is it picture perfect with so much scope for photography, it is also very impressively run. The barn is managed by Briony and Nick, who have done an amazing job creating such a perfect hidden countryside gem. Briony and Nick organised the day with clockwork perfection and any problems that arose were swiftly taken care of in a kind and professional manner.

Laura and her bridesmaids got ready at Laura’s home, The atmosphere was relaxed and calm, Laura looked amazing even before her make up was on! After I finished the bridal preparation shots I left for Hales Hall Barn to capture the guest arrivals, Marc was already there at the entrance with his best man looking excited and sharply dressed. After some photographs we all moved into the Great Hall and waited for Laura to arrive. Unfortunately the wedding car that they had booked had some mechanical problems and was unable to collect Laura from her house, so instead Laura got a lift with good old dad. Fortunately Briony and Nick were on the case and arranged a drive for Laura and Marc in a nice Bentley that they had tucked away somewhere, which in my eyes was the most amazing thing they could have done to help, you wouldn’t get that sort of service just anywhere!

Laura arrived at Hales Hall Barn and took the slow walk down the drive towards the barn entrance where she was met by the lovely Briony and Nick. I quickly dashed off to the main hall and waited for the bride to be to walk down the isle. Laura’s bridesmaids entered first and I could see Marc’s face light up in excitement, they were shortly followed by Laura and her dad. The ceremony was beautiful and the Great Hall really set the scene for a romantic ceremony.

Once the ceremony was over we all vacated the barn and headed to the lawn for drinks whilst a very talented harpist played some beautifully relaxing music. At this point myself, Laura and Marc went for a short walk around the well maintained gardens for a few pictures. Laura and Marc strolled around the grounds and with little to no direction we managed to capture some lovely photographs at various points on the walk. After drinks on the lawn it was time for the throwing of confetti. Family and friends lined up either side of Laura and Marc as they walked through showers of colourful petals.

Once the speeches and meal were over Laura and Marc had the first dance in the spacious main hall, you can see from the pictures that they thoroughly enjoyed it and they were in the mood to party. After the first dance we headed outside to get some of my Strobist Photography shots that I am well known for. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
