St Giles House Hotel Wedding
This particular St Giles House hotel Wedding was the most wonderful themed wedding I have had the pleasure of photographing. The day’s inspiration was a relaxed 1920’s style with beautiful and very fitting pink and mint green handmade button bouquet’s.
When I arrived at St Giles House Hotel Amy was busy getting ready with her friends which included hair and makeup artist Leanne Maddock. Apart from the visible smartphones and TV in the background I could quite easily have walked back in time to the 1920’s. Amy looked amazing with her true vintage makeup and hair.
Joe was in the walnut suite waiting for guests to arrive looking sharp in his suit and perfectly groomed after using the fabulous products provided by Swagger Jacks of Norwich.
Joe, excited but patient waited for Amy to arrive, accompanied by her dad. The ceremony at St Giles House Hotel was in fact held in the very stunning walnut suite. As the name suggests the room is completely clad in dark walnut.
After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to the large bar at St Giles House Hotel for drinks and time to relax before getting on the bus that was to take them to the wedding reception venue, The Mulberry in Norwich. The bus journey was fun but rather wobbly when trying to simultaneously stand and take photographs with two very large cameras!
The Mulberry Wedding Reception
The bus pulled up outside The Mulberry on Unthank Road and the guests departed. The Mulberry was decorated beautifully in 1920’s style, fashioned with homemade herb wedding favours. Amy and Joe held a toast before moving onto the speeches and BBQ in the gardens of The Mulberry. Overall it was a beautiful day that I will always have fond memories of.
