Getting married on the island of Mustique is a dream come true for many couples. With its stunning white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and lush tropical foliage, Mustique offers a picturesque setting for a wedding. But to capture the perfect memories of your big day, it’s important to hire an experienced Mustique wedding videographer.
I was lucky enough to be commissioned to shoot this beautiful wedding on Mustique by my lovely couple. As a destination wedding photographer and Videographer, I would have loved to capture both film and photo, but I had to concentrate on Video with a few stills captured for good measure.
I spent an amazing week in Mustique capturing the many breathtaking scenes from land, Sea and air, along with the main wedding day. The week started with the engagement shoot and a beach bbq at lagoon number 2, a few games or rounders and a swim in the beautiful ocean. Later that evening we went off to the famous Basils bar for jump up and a few drinks.
My couple was staying in Oceanus which overlooks the main bay on the west coast, just above basils. Rebecca and the wedding party got ready at Oceanus and Phil got ready at the Cotton house. The ceremony took place in the Bamboo church, which is an open-walled church made from bamboo! The reception was held at Oceanus then off to Basils for the evening and first dance.
It was truly an amazing week spent on Mustique, the staff and guests made the week one that I will always remember.
