The Norfolk Mead Wedding photographer

This was my very first Norfolk Mead Wedding back in 2016! I have not published many wedding from that year due to it being a year full of NDA’s (non-disclosure agreements).

I met the lovely couple back in 2015 when they initially booked me for their Norfolk Mead Wedding. As the venue had only just opened I was delighted to be asked to photograph their wedding at The Norfolk Mead Hotel as well as being a recommended photographer for the venue.

This hidden gem re-opened in 2013 with new owners Anna and James, who totally refurbished the hotel and added the wedding & Events room into the walled garden. Anna and James have done an amazing job and have turned this once great wedding venue into a beautifully fresh and modern venue.

My couple had their ceremony at Thorpe Saint Andrew Parish Church. The church is directly opposite a beautiful stretch of the River Yare, which makes a stunning backdrop.

The wedding party then departed to The Norfolk Mead Hotel for arrival drinks and canapes within the walled garden before sitting down for the wedding breakfast. My couple really loved the meadow that is situated behind the hotel as a location for some couples shots. The sun was out in full force that day which made photography a bit tricky but as you may know, I love to play with light and used the weather to my advantage.

As nighttime drew closer the evening guests started to arrive for the evening’s entertainment. This was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
