The Reading Room Wedding
This was my first wedding at The Reading Room in Norfolk. As it was a newly opened wedding venue, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Reading Room is a hidden gem deep inside the Norfolk countryside, it’s very private and intermate and makes for the perfect wedding venue.
So this was the wedding of Matt and Heather, great couple and so much fun. We started off at home with Heather and her family to capture some bridal preparation shots. Then moving to The Reading Room to capture some venue shots and the guest arrivals. Matt and the groomsmen were busy getting ready, having a few drinks and a bit of banter. The weather was hot and the sky was pretty much cloudless which can make photography rather hard, but I had prepared myself with plenty of flash power to overpower the sun for some shadow free images.
The day went really well and without a hitch. After the reception, we went outside into the gardens and beautifully kept grounds for some portrait shots. Matt and Heather were not overly keen to pose for shots so we kept it nice and natural and as low key as we could.
Overall I can honestly say that I loved The Reading Room as a wedding venue and can’t wait to return in the future.
