Langley Abbey Wedding

Emily and James recently got married at the very lovely Langley Abbey estate here in Norfolk. This was my first time at Langley Abbey, and I certainly hope it won’t be my last. Emily got ready at home with friends and familywhere I joined the very talented Paula Daynes (makeup) and Suzanna Long (wedding videographer) for the bridal preparation.

We were soon off to Langley Abbey to wait for the arrival of The bridal party. The weather was hot! With the sun beating down, clear blue sky’s and a gentle breeze. Emily arrived and made her way through the polo club up to the ceremony room where James was waiting  to see his bride. The photography was a little challenging due to the volume of light beaming in through the windows and the internal lights did not match the suns strength, but I managed to capture some great shots.

After the ceremony the wedding party made their way to the lounge where a video montage of Emily and James was being displayed on a large projector screen. Drinks and canapé’s were being served on the lawn overlooking a beautiful meadow where polo ponies are kept.

The meal was served in a large barn like room with perfectly laid tables. James had made some pretty amazing things for the day including a wooden sweet carousel and a wishing well. Top work there James! I may even ask him to make me some!

The evening drew in and the music began to play. The dance floor filled up for the first dance then everyone joined in for the evenings entertainment. Overall it was a wonderful day that I feel privileged to have been a part of.

Congratulations to Emily and James. If you like what you see and would like to book me as your Wedding Photographer Norwich then please get in touch
