This was my first time as a Voewood Wedding Videographer, so I decided to arrive an hour or so before my initial start time so I would take in the scenery and plan the day’s filming and grab some early establishing shots. When I drove down the main driveway I got my first glimpse of Voewood house and instantly fell in love with Voewood. 

The atmosphere was so relaxed, I bumped into Michael the groom just leaving the house for a pre-wedding run, he was trying his best not to see Emily before the ceremony. One of the beauties of Voewood is the Two wings which can be used to separate the Bride and Groom so both can get ready at the same place.

I started the filming with Emily and the bridal party in the bridal suite, which has some very nice light coming in through the main window. Spirits were high and everyone was buzzing to start the day. A quick run to the opposite wing to get some film of Michael getting into his suit. Michael looked very handsome indeed!

The ceremony was outside on the main lawn of Voewood house accompanied by a beautiful string quartette. Emily walked down the steps with her bridesmaids as her sister sung “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley (such a beautiful song)

The meal and speeches took place on the side lawn with catering supplied by the amazing team at Complete And Utter Brasted’s The speeches were so emotional and heartfelt as you will hear some parts in the Voewood wedding film.

Time to hit the dancefloor, the first dance was kinda funky, I am 99% sure Michael and Emily had been practicing a dance routine way before the wedding!

The evening ended with an amazing sparkler send of down the main steps to the gardens. The whole day was so magical and amazing. I can’t wait to return to Voewood to film another wedding.
