Bayfield Hall Wedding Photographer

When Hannah and Mick first contacted me to photograph their Bayfield Hall wedding I was very excited. Bayfield Hall was a new venue for me. When I’m due to visit a new venue I prefer not to look at previous weddings photographed there. My approach is to turn up early and get a feel for the place on the day. Every wedding is different and unique to the couple that is getting married. And I feel doing it this way captures their special day in a way that no other has before.

Bayfield Hall is a Georgian country house situated just outside of Holt in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. And the building dates back to the 18th century. The house has been recently refurbished but It still holds all the originality and charm that it is well known for.

Bayfield Hall Wedding

I only spent a few short hours photographing the wedding but I wish I had longer to explore the vast grounds and sweeping driveways. The setting was truly breathtaking. Bayfield Hall has its own lake and lawns leading down to the lower lake levels, which are ideal for natural wedding portraiture. Hannah and Mick had the wedding ceremony in the main house. Moving on to canapes and drinks on the lawn finishing off the day in the marquee. The food was spectacular as was the running of the day. The management and staff did an amazing job to make the day go smoothly.
