Oxnead Hall Wedding Photography

This was my first time as an Oxnead Hall wedding photographer. I must say I am impressed with the venue and staff. The venue could easily be taken from a Jane Austin novel. With Its large wide open spaces and dreamy gardens and romantic setting. Oxnead Hall is now in my top 5 wedding venues worldwide.

Oxnead Hall

The venue is a beautiful Grade II listed building with all the usual grandeur and stunning grounds that go with an estate of this calibre. Oxnead Hall was built in 1580 for Sir Clement Paston and remained in the family until the 18th century.

As you would imagine Oxnead hall has vast and beautiful grounds which are meticulously well kept by a full-time groundskeeper. To the rear of Oxnead Hall, you will find a multi-tiered garden leading to the Orangery and water fountain surrounded by a maze style hedge overlooking the lake and river. This area is where outdoor wedding ceremonies take place, with the orangery used for the legal part of the ceremony.

Photography wise Oxnead Hall is a photographers dream come true. I could have quite easily have spent many days exploring the vast grounds looking for areas with soft light and new exciting scenes to capture. Although we were blessed with high temperatures on the day and the sun was very harsh I managed to shoot over 900 frames to deliver to my client. Here are but a few.
