Turkey Wedding Photographer
When Max and Yulia were looking for a Turkey wedding photographer they stumbled upon my website and we started chatting, a few days later they booked and we were ready to go. Fast forward a year, I touched down at Dalyan airport to begin a week of fun.
The day before the wedding we took a trip around the local area of Dalyan for an engagement shoot and visited the day venue, a well-being centre based on the edge of the lake.
I started with the groom and his family first in Max’s parent’s villa, then moved on to the bridal party at the hotel we were staying in.
The ceremony was amazing, held right next to the lake among pomegranate trees with some Ukrainian traditions mixed in, the cool thing was the celebrant was non-other than max’s best man Austin! you will see lots of Austin in the photos, he is the dude with the big beard getting beer poured over him in the lake.
Now to the boat party! Max and Yulia hired three boats to cruise around the lake and then take us up the river to the evening venue, The few hours we were on the lake were amazing! plenty of drinking and partying, even a bit of skinny dipping! this is the first wedding where I had to be careful what images I post (a sign of a good wedding)
We moored up at the evening venue and had an amazing turkish meal on the jetty as the sun was setting over the ancient tombs on the opposite side of the river. The first dance took place then Yulia and her dad had a dance of their own followed by a mega party with some traditional Kurdish dancing.
This will certainly be a wedding to remember. If you are looking for a Turkey wedding photographer please feel free to get in touch.
